Biography
Dustin Barker is a PhD student in the Department for the Study of Religion. He earned a BA in Classics (with great distinction) from Concordia University. Also at Concordia, he earned an MA in Religions and Cultures, writing his thesis on the evolution of early apocalyptic determinism. Dustin’s current research interest focuses on apocalypticism, apocalypses, and deterministic modes of thought within Second Temple Judaism and early Christianity.
