Biography
Filip Andjelkovic received his PhD from the University of Toronto, where he is currently an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, in the Department for the Study of Religion. He teaches the psychology and philosophy of religion and has taught religion in relation to film and media studies.
Filip's dissertation explored the social and psychological implications of AI-generated art and algorithmically organized online engagement. His most recent publications address the intrinsic entanglement between pornography, as a category of representation, and digital visual media. He is currently co-writing a book on psychoanalysis and horror cinema.
