Frank J. Korom (Boston University)
Description
Frank J. Korom is a professor of religion and anthropology at Boston University and a faculty affiliate of Harvard University's Folklore & Mythology Program. He is the author and/or editor of 10 books. In addition, he serves as the co-editor of the journal Asian Ethnology. In 2021, the German government awarded him a Humboldt Forschungspreis for his overall academic achievements in his fields of expertise, which geographically include South Asia, the Caribbean, Tibet, and their respective diasporas.
