Biography :
Michael Oluwatobiloba Ajayi is a PhD student in the Department for the Study of Religion. He earned his first and second degrees in Religious Studies from the Department of Religious Studies University of Ibadan, Nigeria. For his Bachelor’s degree, he examined “music as an instrument for stemming the tide of inter-religious violence in Nigeria” while his Master’s dissertation probed into the “sociological implications of the depiction of Yoruba religion in selected Nollywood films”. He is currently working on “religion, ethnicity and party politics: the southwestern Nigerian experience” for his PhD.
