The inaugural Wutai Shan Venerable Dayi Professor in Buddhist Spiritual Care at Victoria University's Emmanuel College will be Dr. Jennifer Bright, an assistant professor of Buddhist spiritual care and counselling since 2023 and PhD alumna of the Department for the Study of Religion (2017).
